Aim:
In order to improve the imaging and spectroscopic capabilities of the
MRI scanners, we are currently recruiting healthy volunteers to
participate in research studies. Such studies will be done using a
variety of techniques, all free of
ionizing radiation (like X-Rays for example).
Voluntary participation:
Your participation in the study is voluntary.
You may stop participating in the study at any time. Your decision
not to take part in the study or to stop your participation will not
affect your medical care or any benefits to which you are entitled. If
you decide to stop taking part in the study, you should tell the
Principal Investigator. Your doctor or the Investigator of the study
may stop your participation in the study at any time if they decide
that it is in your best interests. They may also do this if you do not
follow instructions required to complete the study adequately.
Ethics approval:
The study is conducted in accordance with the Helsinki
Declaration and approved by the local
ethical committee at National
Neuroscience Institute. For further independent information/opinion of your

Compensation for participating:
You will be offered a complimentary CD with images of your brain as an appreciation
of your help and, depending on the study, you may be reimbursed for
your travel expenses.
